I am a fiction author, book editor, and speaker based in East Tennessee. I am represented by Sandy Lu of Book Wyrm Literary Agency, and my team at Blue Pen provides editing and book design services.

My career began after a brain injury derailed my plans and set me on a path toward the best things in my life. These days, I spend my free time backpacking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, hanging out with my husky, and practicing leatherworking.

I am a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association, the Knoxville Writers’ Guild, and the Appalachian Studies Association.
